Let us introduce ourselves. We are Tom &
Sue Wilbur and the owners of Jammin' Mobile DJ since 1995. What
makes us different is that we are a husband & wife entertainment
team and we only do weddings! Our focus is on high quality, not
volume. Weddings require a considerable amount of preparation
and attention, so we never overbook ourselves and perform only
one wedding per week. Each is a unique event and we provide you
the personal service, time and attention you deserve. Our attention
to your style and preferences will create the reception you have
envisioned.
Our professional training includes Tom's completion
of the Marbecca Method Master of Ceremonies workshop. This two-day
instruction from nationally know DJ trainers, Mark and Rebecca
Ferrell, was an intense hands-on workshop that focuses on the
methodology of being a Master of Ceremonies. It taught voice skills,
formal speaking, wedding traditions, how to direct the flow of
the evening, and keeping the audience's attention. Bottom line
is we can help you create an elegant seamless reception, laced
with awesome music, which will be fun for you and all your guests.

Entertainment planning is often the most overlooked
aspect of a wedding reception. Every great event needs planning,
organization, and direction…and your wedding reception is
no different. Could you make a movie without a script, or director?
Jammin' Mobile DJ offers individualized planning with a "woman's
touch" because wedding receptions do not run smoothly by themselves
or by accident.
Several
weeks before your wedding Tom & Sue will meet with you for
your planning session. Together we write a plan and itinerary
for your reception, based on your plans, ideas, style, and personalities.
We always take into account your guest's interest & involvement,
and how it keeps the focus on you. We plan for the elegance, the
classy, the romantic, and the fun moments. This creates a well-organized
and stress-free event for everyone. We discuss time management
for the evening, all music, the grand entrance, all introductions,
your preferences in the special dances & wedding traditions,
interactive elements, Love Story interview, sensitive subjects
we should be aware of, and all parts of your reception. We draw
on our years of experience to offer creative ideas and are sensitive
to incorporate your wants and needs.
Once your itinerary has been set, you will need
someone to execute that plan and serve as master of ceremonies
to guide and direct the event. With that said, weddings receptions
often take on a "life of their own", and sometimes adjustments
have to be made quickly in order to be "in the moment" of what
is happening. Imagine your peace of mind knowing that you have
Tom and Sue's experience and talent to keep your reception running
smoothly, knowing your guests will be involved, and having the
spotlight where it belongs…on you as "The Guests of Honor".
The Love Story
- We are proud to offer personalized "Love Stories" as part
of your wedding reception. This live presentation chronicles
your romance, from how & when you met, through the dating
process, when you knew your fiancé' was ‘the one',
and how, when, and where he proposed. It's an intimate look
at where this wonderful relationship started and how we all
got to this particular festive day that you'll always remember.
Lasting approximately 4 to 7 minutes and set with background
music, your "Love Story" is a great way to personalize your
wedding reception with a little romance, a little humor and

Your First
Dance Song With Custom Editing Or Voice-Over Recording –
Imagine your first dance as husband & wife, and your special
song you've picked just for this moment. You may wish to have
your personal love messages or perhaps your wedding vows edited
into the song. We also offer the option of editing multiple
songs together. Both these options are available for other dances
and other portions of your event.
Custom Written
Introductions – Your First Dance, Father/Daughter
Dance, Mother/Son Dance, Bridal Party Grand Introductions, Best
Man & Maid-of-Honor Toasts, and any other pertinent introduction
are custom written, with style, romance, and emotion…
just for your reception, just for you.
Games, Competitions,
and Activities – We have lots of them available. During
our planning session, we go over them and choose the right ones
(or maybe none) for your style, your guests, and event timeline.
Keep in mind; anything we do must meet our two standards. #1
– It must spotlight/focus on our Bride & Groom, not
the DJ. #2 – It must involve your guests. This gets back
to giving your friends and family the opportunity to be part
of your celebration, and furnish them the means for having a
fun and memorable evening.
